This introductory course was designed to:
- Further an understanding of the principles of GMP, HACCP and Food Safety.
- Provide an overview of the elements of a Food Safety program and how the program may be used within an organization.
- Build an awareness of typical Food Safety tools, techniques and resources.
- Review the roles, responsibilities and expectations of the Food Safety Team.
We will discuss topics such as:
- The purpose and benefits of a Food Safety program.
- Basic GMP, HACCP and Food Safety principles.
- Overview of the different approaches to Food Safety.
- Food Safety tools, techniques and resources.
