We have found that online participation at learning events improves accessibility and the likelihood of engagement of participants. This is a more flexible and user-friendly option. It reduces travel time and travel-related expenses. Best of all, it reduces paper waste from using printed material.

What can be done online?

  • Completion and submission of surveys, assignments and exams
  • Sharing course material with participants
  • Evaluation of participants’ submissions and reporting of results
  • Completion and submission of event evaluation/ feedback
  • Issuing of attendance certificates
  • Review of material online by attendee, as needed

Some events are offered in entirety online, while others are a combination of online and in-person activities. These options and combinations thereof are offered based on the type of course. Please review the course description for details on how each course will be delivered.

Online Account Set-up & Maintenance Requirements

  • Each participant will be provided with unique user information.
  • Participants are required to provide an email address to be used to create their user account.
  • Accounts expire upon completion of the established duration for the course. After the course duration has passed, if you have not successfully completed the course, you will be required to re-register and pay for the course.
  • A computer with functioning speakers, microphone and camera will be required.
  • A reliable internet connection will improve your experience.
